THE PROCESS

Every strap is stripped, thinned, beveled, tooled, dyed, waxed, burnished and polished by my hand alone. I take great pride in my straps. Each 36”x3/4 " tooled portion of the strap is THEN fit with a 2mm braided leather cord measuring approx. 22" in length creating a 11" loop that easily fits within the curl of  "F-style" mandos or tucks nicely above the nut and underneath the strings of an "A-style".This makes the straps adjustable from APPROX. 39'-48". Find your fit and then trim off the excess cord if desired. The corded loops are held snuggly in place with a sliding leather button, again of my own making. This ALL leather design insures there is NOTHING to harm the finish of your instrument. 

  I started leather "smithing" 42 years ago. Everything I know goes into making each and ever one of my straps a thing of beauty and a joy to wear.

These are easily useful for Ukulele's as well.
